Dr. Susan Rushing is a psychiatrist in private practice in Pennsylvania and Delaware and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rushing is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM), and the American Board of Preventative Medicine (ABPM). Dr. Rushing specializes in the treatment of mood disorders including: treatment refractory depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders during pregnancy, and neuromodulation including TMS. Dr. Rushing earned her Bachelor of Science in Brain and Cognitive Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, M.D. at Yale School of Medicine, and J.D. at Stanford Law School. Dr. Rushing completed her internship in pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center and residency in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also trained in forensic psychiatry. She is a certified provider of TMS and a member of the Clinical TMS Society.
Dr. Deborah Kim is a board-certified psychiatrist in PA and NJ who has been treating patients for over 15 years. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kim specializes in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She regularly provides consultation and treatment for psychiatric disorders during the perinatal and postnatal period. Although her clinical focus is on treating pregnant and postpartum women with mental illness, Dr. Kim has extensive experience with treating patients with major medical co-morbidities, PMS/PMDD, menopausal issues and bipolar disorder. Dr. Kim has been using TMS in her studies since 2005 and is clinically certified in treating patients with TMS. She has been an invited speaker Clinical TMS Society meetings. She conducted the first studies in TMS during pregnancy and treats a wide variety of patients with treatment resistant depression with TMS.
